What Cookies We Use

Sunny Egypt uses a small number of essential cookies and, only if you agree, anonymous analytics. We never use advertising cookies and never sell your data.

• Language and currency preference — essential; remembers the language and currency you chose.
• Your cookie choice — essential; remembers whether you pressed “Accept” or “Essential only” (kept for 6 months).
• Admin session — a secure, essential cookie used only for the team dashboard login.

Analytics — two levels

If you press “Essential only” (or haven’t chosen yet) we only count visits in aggregate, without storing anything on your device: which page or trip was viewed, the country (not the city), a rough device type (mobile / tablet / desktop), how you arrived (for example Google or Instagram) and whether a booking was completed. Nothing links one visit to the next, and we never store your IP address.

If you press “Accept” we also store a random anonymous identifier on your device so we can see how visitors move through the site over time: the approximate city and region your connection comes from (supplied by our hosting provider and rounded to about 10 km — never your exact location or IP address), pages and trips viewed, scroll depth, where people click, how long sections are in view, which booking-form fields cause people to stop (field names and timing only — never what you type), page speed and errors. We do not record passwords, card details or the text you type into forms.

With “Accept” we may also load Google Analytics and Meta Pixel (if enabled for the site). They are not loaded at all without your consent.

Lawful basis: your consent for the full analytics; our legitimate interest in counting visits without identifying anyone for the aggregate level.

Third-Party Cookies

We do not take online payments at the moment, so no payment cookies are set. If online card payment is offered in the future, Stripe may set essential cookies during checkout to prevent fraud and process payment securely — never for advertising.

Changing Your Choice

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Pressing the button below removes your stored choice and the anonymous identifier from this device, and the cookie banner will ask you again.
