Bedouin Dinner & Camel Ride Under the Stars

The evening starts with hotel pickup around 4-5 pm and a short drive into the desert to a Bedouin-style camp, where a camel ride around the grounds is usually the opening activity — brief, guided, and fine for first-timers.
Dinner is an open-air BBQ, often grilled in front of guests, followed by traditional drumming and sometimes a Tanoura folk dance performance. As the camp's lights dim, the real draw takes over: Sinai's near-zero light pollution turns the sky properly dark, and the Milky Way is visible without any equipment.
Some operators bring a telescope and someone who can point out visible planets and constellations — worth asking about when booking if stargazing is the main reason you're going.
