I learned it underwater.
For more than twelve years my life has been tied to the Red Sea. Diving. Underwater photography. And a steady stream of travelers from all over the world.
Out there I learned something no course teaches: nobody remembers a holiday for the schedule. They remember the small things. Someone who noticed you were nervous. A guide who waited. A photo you did not have to ask for.
Then I became the tourist.
When I started traveling outside Egypt, everything looked different. I was the one in a strange city, with limited days and hard-earned money, hoping the person on the other end was honest.
That feeling stayed with me. Trust is the most valuable thing a traveler hands over. I wanted to be someone who deserves it.
Six or seven years of almost.
The idea of my own tourism company lived in my head for six or seven years. I tried to start it more than once. Each time, life got in the way and the plan waited.
I even traveled abroad, including to Russia, to see whether partnering with travel companies there could be the way. It taught me something simple: if I wanted this built the way I imagined, I would have to start building it myself.
New technology, AI included, finally gave me the tools to turn those years of ideas into something real. Sunny Egypt was born.
Then the messages started.
The website began to get visitors. Then bookings. Then something I had not expected: messages from travelers who were simply happy, along with photos from their days in Egypt.
Those messages decided it. I came back to Egypt to be close to the experiences, to see them with my own eyes, to find what needs fixing and make it better.
I do not run every excursion myself. Sunny Egypt works with experienced guides, drivers, boat crews and local partners. My job is to make sure the whole thing is done with care.
