Coral Restoration Volunteer Dive

From €56

This dive pairs recreational diving with hands-on marine conservation. You'll join a local restoration project that grows coral fragments in nurseries before transplanting them onto damaged sections of reef, and as a volunteer diver you help with the actual transplanting under a marine biologist's guidance, alongside a briefing on the threats facing Red Sea reefs and what makes them unusually resilient.

No scientific background is needed, just an Open Water certification and genuine care about the reef you're diving on.

A meaningful way to spend a dive day, especially for anyone who wants their trip to leave the coast better than they found it rather than just seeing the reef.
