Fanadir Reef Snorkeling
From €33
Fanadir Reef sits closer to shore than Elphinstone or Sataya, which makes it a shorter, calmer boat ride while still delivering genuinely good coral cover and marine life. The reef's shallower plateau is snorkel-friendly, while its deeper channels and drop-offs are a regular dive site for anyone wanting to go a bit further.
Expect colourful soft and hard coral gardens, reef fish in good numbers, and a decent chance of spotting whitetip reef sharks resting in the sandy channels between coral heads.
Most trips combine Fanadir with a second, nearby stop, making for a full but relaxed day rather than a single long crossing.
