Beginners Scuba Diving Day Trip

This is the low-key alternative to Elphinstone for anyone who wants to try scuba without committing to an advanced-level site. It starts with a proper briefing and confined-water practice before moving to a real open-water dive at one of the calmer reefs closer to Port Ghalib, typically to around 6-12 metres.

Instructor-to-guest ratios stay small, and no certification or prior experience is required — this is built specifically for people who've never dived before. If you enjoy it, most operators can credit the dive toward a full Open Water certification later in your trip.

Bring a swimsuit and reef-safe sunscreen; masks, fins, wetsuits and tanks are provided.
