Royal Jewelry Museum Tour

From €21

Housed in a former royal palace, the Royal Jewelry Museum displays an extraordinary collection amassed by Egypt's royal family before the 1952 revolution — tiaras, watches, ornamental weapons and jewelry pieces set with diamonds and precious stones from around the world.

The palace building itself is worth the visit alongside the collection, with elaborate stained glass, painted ceilings and period furnishings that give a real sense of how Egypt's royal family lived in Alexandria's early 20th-century heyday.

A good indoor option that pairs well with a Montazah Gardens visit, since both cover a similar era of Alexandria's royal history.
